Clean the muddy & boxy sounds, keep them musical

Just like how the Techivation T-De-Esser cleans up the high frequencies of sounds giving a musical and natural-sounding result, the T-Clarity does this on the low and mid frequencies of sound, resulting in a clear, smooth, and pleasant sound.

A common way of fixing muddiness is to cut down the frequencies using an EQ. However, it comes with the price of having your overall sound changed, as muddiness may only occur at some parts of your sound source or mix. T-Clarity solves these issues without affecting the feel of the sound.

Get it done fast, yet make it sound perfect

We love simplicity and having things more organized. Quick solutions save you time, and the saved time can be used to achieve greater accomplishments.

T-Clarity was created with the same goal in mind.. It can save you a lot of time and effort while helping you get a better result out of your work.

The same way as T-De-Esser turning the processing knob starts the plug-in’s operation, you then set how intense you want to go according to your taste. There are 4 frequency bands available to choose between, choose depending on where the muddy and boxy sounds are coming from.

      Minimal graphic user-interface, simple workflow

Visuals can distract your hearing, digital graphs are very likely to affect your decision-making when it comes to setting the values. T-Clarity helps you stay more focused on a nice output sound, rather than how things visually change as you tweak the plug-in settings.

There are a similar number of knobs and buttons as the T-De-Esser in T-Clarity while they have the same placement order. Many are familiar with how the T-De-Esser settings work, and how quickly and easily it would improve your sounds. Following that, we kept the same workflow for T-Clarity while it gives you different results for a different purposes than the T-De-Esser.

    Key Features

    • Processing knob

The Processing setting determines how much level can pass through the plug-in before compression is triggered to start cleaning the unwanted muddy and boxy sounds. Lower the processing until gain reduction starts to occur. Then listen as you adjust the processing. Find the point at which the mid or upper mid-range is controlled without extremely audible compression.

    • Side Chain Frequency Modes

Side Chain Frequency Modes include four specific side-chained frequency bands to detect harsh sounds.

    • Intensity control

The T-Claritys Intensity determines how much gain reduction the T-Clarity applies when the signal passes a threshold level. For example, an intensity of 4:1 means that for every 4 dB the signal rises above the threshold, the plug-in will allow an output of 1 dB.

    • Sharpness control

The Sharpness refers to how the plug-ins transitions between the non compressed and compressed states of an audio signal running through it. A lower sharpness allows for a smoother and more gradual compression than a higher sharpness.

    • Oversampling up to 16X

Oversampling in T-Clarity helps you decrease aliasing by executing the internal process at a higher sample rate than the host, up to 16 times higher.

    • Audition section

This feature allows you to quickly listen to the T-Clarity's selected frequency bands in solo or just the effect of the plug-in on your signal.

    • Scalable graphic user interface

Scale up/down the GUI from 80% to 150% according to your preferences.

    • Undo/redo options

Undo and redo options are built inside the plugin, You no longer need to worry about losing setting values.

    • A/B Switch

Compare different options fast and easy to see which might work best.

    • Presets

There are several presets available in T-Clarity, carefully designed for different kinds of sounds. It also allows you to create and save your own custom presets for a faster workflow.
